Combining design flair with functionality, the Swordfish SuperSlim Laminator laminates documents up to A4 size and is ideal for everyday use in the home or office. Featuring jam-free, four-roller technology and a fast warm up time of 2-3 minutes, the machine offers efficient lamination that provides permanent protection for documents, signs, teaching aids, photographs – even your kid’s drawings. With a slim-line design and lightweight body, the Swordfish SuperSlim Laminator is compact, portable and easy to store. In use – it is a stylish addition to your desk. Available in a choice of metallic red or metallic blue it is clear at first sight that the Swordfish SuperSlim is no ordinary laminator. Beneath the stylish exterior is a piece of electro-mechanical design that has enabled numerous features, often only found on larger laminators, to be packed into such a slim machine. The case mouldings, for instance, incorporate a guidance system that supports the pouch all the way into the rollers – and then out again the other side. It is this guidance system which, provided that good quality pouches are used, ensures that the SuperSlim laminator will not jam.

Four-Roller Technology

Four-roller technology, normally only found in high-end professional laminators, is the heart of the SuperSlim laminator and is the reason that this machine produces such great results. The first pair of rollers heat the pouch, melting the adhesive on its inner surfaces. Then the second set of rollers comes into play, simultaneously cooling and smoothing the pouch. The result is the superior quality of lamination that you would normally expect from more expensive machines. Laminating protects against water, light and fingerprints, enabling you to preserve, protect and present your favourite photographs, drawings or documents. With a crystal clear finish of a lamination pouch, pictures look glossy and brighter, signs last longer. Calendars, planners and maps can be written on (using a “dry-wipe” marker pen) and wiped clean again and again. With a laminator you can protect frequently handled documents from dirt, damage, creases and tears by permanently sealing them in a laminating pouch.

Swordfish Laminating Pouches

The Swordfish SuperSlim Laminator is compatible with 2x75 [150] and 2x125 [250] micron laminating pouches giving you the flexibility to use standard or thicker laminating pouches. Additionally, there is a cold lamination option for laminating heat-sensitive documents or photos. It is recommended that you use Swordfish Laminating Pouches to ensure maximum rigidity, clarity and quality lamination every time. Swordfish Laminating Pouches in sizes: A4 2x75 (150) microns, A4 2x125 (250) microns, A3 2x75 (150) microns and A3 2x125 (250) microns are available.
