Giant Garden Ludo (Outdoor play mat with inflatable Dice). The Garden Ludo mat is designed around a cross shaped track. A row of Ovals make up the outer edge of the cross, this is the Outer Track. The centre column of Ovals within each arm of the cross is coloured and this is know as the Home Track. The middle of the cross is divided into 4 coloured triangles at the end of each Home Track. This centre area is known as the Home Area. Each corner of the mat has a coloured area known as the Starting Circle. Off the Starting Circle leads the Home Track. The first coloured Oval of the Home Track is called the Starting Oval.
Each player chooses a colour and places their 4 counters into the corresponding Starting Circle. Throw the die to decide who should play first (highest throw wins) players then take turns in a clockwise order. On each throw the player decides which piece to move, the player must throw a six to move a counter from the Starting Circle onto the Outer Track. When a six is thrown the counter moves six Ovals on the Outer Track beginning with the appropriate Starting Oval. The counters move in a clockwise direction around the track. Whenever a six is thrown the player gets another throw.
You can bring as many counters into play from the Starting Circle as you wish; you must throw a six to get the counter into play. If on your turn your counter lands on another player's counter their counter goes out of play and back to their Starting Circle. They will need to throw a six to get the counter back in play. If your counter lands on one of your own this forms a Block. No other player's counter is allowed to pass or land upon your Block until you move one of the counters from the Block.
When a counter has gone around the Outer Track once, it proceeds up the Home Track. A counter can be placed in the Home Area on an exact throw. The winner is the first player to get their four counters into the Home Area. #Giant #Garden #Ludo #Outdoor #play #with #inflatable #Dice
